I’m Jon Dieringer, the founder, director, and editor-in-chief of Screen Slate, winner of the National Society of Film Critics 2022 Film Heritage Award. I also work as an editor with A24’s publishing imprint, where I oversee books and zines. On top of this, I’m a film programmer, writer, and media artist.

I was previously the Technical Director of pioneering media art nonprofit Electronic Arts Intermix, where I oversaw the preservation of video and film works by artists such as Nam June Paik, Barbara Hammer, Joan Jonas, Vito Acconci, and Tony Oursler, among many others. I also teach a course in media art history in SVA’s MFA Computer Art program.

I’m available for management, editing, curating, writing, and film/video preservation work. Say hello!
